Lots of Lane Closures This Weekend on Cobb Interstates

Here's what the Georgia DOT is doing this weekend on Cobb County interstates:

• On I-285, three eastbound lanes will close between Cumberland Blvd and the I-75 interchange from 9 p.m., Friday until 5 a.m., Saturday.
• On I-285, three westbound lanes will close between SR 3/Northside Drive and Cobb Parkway from 9 p.m., Friday until 5 a.m., Saturday.
• On I-285, one right eastbound lane will close between I-75 interchange and Cumberland Blvd from 9 p.m., Sunday until 5 a.m., Monday.
• The on-ramp from Cobb Parkway to I-285 eastbound will close from 9:30 a.m., until 4 p.m. Saturday.
• On I-285, the westbound collector-distributer lanes will close between Powers Ferry Road and the I-75 interchange from 9 p.m., Friday until 5 a.m., Saturday.
• On I-75, two southbound lanes will close between SR 120 Loop/ South Marietta Parkway and SR 280/ Delk Road from 9 p.m., until 5 a.m., Friday and Saturday.
• On I-75, one northbound lane will close just before and after Wade Green Road from 9 p.m., Friday until 5 a.m., Saturday.
• On I-75, two right southbound lanes will close between SR 120/South Marietta and SR 280/Delk Rd from 9 p.m., Friday until 5 a.m., Saturday.
• On I-75, two northbound lanes will close between SR 280/Delk Road and SR 120 Loop/ South Marietta Parkway from 9 p.m., until 5 a.m., Friday and Sunday.
• On I-75, two right southbound lanes will close between SR 280/Delk Rd and SR 120/South Marietta from 9 p.m., Friday until 5 a.m., Saturday.
• The I-75 southbound off-ramp to SR 280/Delk Rd will close from 9 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Saturday. Motorist traveling Delk Road eastbound and westbound traveling to I-75 Southbound will be directed to travel northbound on Franklin Gateway to South Marietta Parkway. Traffic will then be directed to turn right on South Marietta Parkway followed by another right to enter I-75 Southbound.
• On I-575, one left northbound lane will close between SR 92/Alabama Road and Ridgewalk Parkway from 9 p.m., Friday until 5 a.m., Saturday.
• A flagging operation will take place on Hawkins Store Road over I-575 from 9:30 a.m., until 4 p.m., Saturday.
