COBB COUNTY, GA — A man detained by the Cobb County Sheriff’s Office screams he can’t breathe as deputies and medical personnel watch him die. The incident is shown in a new video uncovered by a WXIA's investigation.

Kevin Wingo, a 36-year-old Atlanta resident was in custody and arrested for drug possession.
Although his death occurred in September of 2019, details of his death were hidden until the sheriff’s office was done with its internal affairs investigation this past June.

Wingo's family says they want the jail staffers held accountable, calling what they did a crime.
