Man Hospitalized After Car Hits Tree, Trapping Him In Car In Marietta

MARIETTA, GA — A man who was trapped in a car that hit a tree Sunday night is in the hospital with serious injuries, Cobb County Police said.

The crash happened around 8:15 a.m. at Cobb Parkway near Progressive Way, police said.

The man was driving a white Nissan Altima northbound on Cobb Parkway, where the car veered off of the road and crashed into a tree, police said.

The man was then trapped in the car, and he was extricated, police said. He was taken to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital.
