Man Killed In Cobb Crash With Van
The crash happened at 7:39 a.m. on Monday at an intersection in Powder Springs, according to Cobb County Police.

POWDER SPRINGS, GA — A local man was killed Monday morning when the car he was riding in was struck by a van in a Cobb County intersection.
Thony-Lourd Ciceron, 34, of Hiram, was taken to Cobb Hospital, where he died from injuries sustained in the crash, according to the Cobb County Police Department.
According to police, the crash happened at C.H. James Parkway at Hill Road in Powder Springs at 7:39 a.m. Monday. Torre D. Hayes, 39, of Marietta was driving a 1990 GMC Safari north on C.H. James Parkway when a Hyundai driven by Ronald L. White, 32, of Marietta, turned left in front of him in the intersection.

White was taken to Kennestone Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said. Hayes did not require medical attention. Ciceron was sitting in the back seat of the Hyundai.
Police said Tuesday that the investigation into the crash is still ongoing and that criminal charges are anticipated once the investigation is complete.
