Man Shot at Marietta Waffle House
More than one crime scene may be involved, as police are investigating blood found at a nearby McDonald's and shell casings elsewhere.

MARIETTA, GA -- A man was shot in the arm shortly after midnight at the Waffle House on Sandy Plains Road near Post Oak Tritt Road.
Police also found blood in a nearby McDonald's parking lot, also on Sandy Plains, as determine exactly what happened.
When police arrived at the Waffle House, they were unable to find the man who had reportedly been shot, according to Cobb Sgt. Dana Pierce.

"Within minutes an ambulance that was on its way to the area was intercepted by a female who was driving that injured male to the hospital," Pierce said. "The ambulance loaded the male up and went to Kennestone Hospital."
When police got to the hospital, the man told them there was a bloody crime scene at the nearby McDonalds parking lot. Police also found shell casings were also located in the roadway in front of the victim's residence.

The man was taken to WellStar Kennestone Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
