Marietta ChalkFest: Meet Artist Jennifer Chaparro

Jennifer Nichols Chaparro grew up in California, and now lives in West Palm Beach, Florida. Her “street paintings” are often of two subjects: reproductions of masterpieces or large-scale original 3D works. Chaparro has never chalked the same piece twice. Chaparro has traveled internationally for her chalk art, her chalk works have won many awards. She has a BA from UCLA and received her maestro Certification from FCAA in 2011, and also works as a graphic designer, mural artist, and will chalk on just about anything.

Jennifer won the People’s Choice Award at the 2013 ChalkFest. The 2014 Marietta ChalkFest will run from Oct. 11-12 in Marietta Square.
