Marietta High School Holds Drive Thru Graduation
Graduating seniors participated in a drive-thru graduation at Kell High School.
MARIETTA, GA — Kell High School hosted a drive-thru commencement Wednesday night in a unique way. More than 400 graduating seniors participated in the “Class of 2020 Bright Future Parade.”
To safely acknowledge each graduate while practicing social distancing, each student drove around the school in their cars. Over a loudspeaker, individual names were read, as well as their plans after graduation.
They streamed it on social media. In a Twitter post the school wrote: “We demonstrated that the power to dream can overcome any barrier! Class of 2020, dream big and never believe in impossible but live in I’M possible!”
