Marietta K-9 Finds Suspect Hiding Under Tractor Trailer

The suspect was charged with felony theft by receiving stolen property, misdemeanor driving, fleeing and more.

MARIETTA, GA — Marietta police have a suspect in custody after saying he sped through the city in a stolen pickup truck.

Officials were notified Tuesday morning and stopped the driver, but the suspect soon fled, reported WAGA-TV. He was found just before 11 a.m. wedged under a parked tractor-trailer on the road by a Marietta K-9 officer.

Identified as 32-year-old Warner Robins resident Donald Decarle, he was charged with felony theft by receiving stolen property, misdemeanor driving, fleeing, or attempting to elude, driving hit and run, possession of a firearm in the commission of a theft, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
