Marietta Kiwanis, Rotarians Hold Easter Sunrise Service

1. The Marietta Kiwanis and Rotary Club of Marietta have joined together again this year to sponsor a sunrise Easter service at Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park. This free event on the park grounds near the park's visitor center will begin at 7 a.m. Sunday.

Pastor Charles Sineath will lead the 3o- to 40-minute non-denominational service.

2. , as part of its MainStage Series, debuts "Circle Mirror Transformation, at 7 p.m. today. This Annie Baker play, directed by Susan Reid, takes place in an acting class, where a group of aspiring actors attempt to create characters but go about revealing personal details of their own lives. It's a different behind-the-scenes look at the creative process and was an off-Broadway hit. Recommended for age 16 and up. With Shelly McCook, David DeVries, Steve Hudson, Amber Chaney and Rachel DeJulio.

The play runs until May 29. Tickets are regularly $24, but students can get $12 tickets for tonight's show as well as 8 p.m. shows on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. For information, call the theater box office at 770-422-8369.

The Clean Air Campaign, together with the region’s eight transportation management associations, RideSmart and the Georgia Department of Transportation, has issued a call for entries for the 11^th annual PACE Awards. The PACE Awards recognize and celebrate the success of employers, property managers, schools and individuals for advancement efforts toward cleaner air and less traffic.

Award entry forms are available at the Clean Air Campaign’s Web site or by calling 1-877-CLEANAIR (1-877-253-2624). Winners will be announced in August.
