Marietta Man Ejected From Motorcycle During Collision

The man suffered life-threatening injuries in the Powder Springs Street crash Wednesday night.

MARIETTA, GA — A Marietta man was ejected from his motorcycle and sustained life-threatening injuries Wednesday night after being hit by a pickup truck at Powder Springs Street and Bellemeade Drive, Marietta Police said Thursday.

Police said the man was driving a 2022 Kawasaki ZX636 east on Powder Springs around 8:30 p.m., when his motorcycle was hit by a 2016 Dodge Ram attempting to make a left turn onto Powder Springs. The Ram was aiming west and crossed into the path of the motorcycle.

The Kawasaki hit the driver's side of the Ram, and the man was ejected from the motorcycle, police said. He was taken to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said.
