The Rotary Club of Marietta Metro is presenting a program featuring best-selling author, renowned speaker, and Georgia Author of the Year Award recipient Alvin Townley and the screening of the award winning documentary: "JEREMIAH"

Winner of four 2016 Southeastern EMMY Awards, including Best Documentary. For eight long years, future U.S. Senator Jeremiah Denton battled North Vietnamese captors and led the American POWs in the infamous Hanoi Hilton prison. The award-winning, public television original film JEREMIAH uses family, friends, and fellow POWs to help tell the story of this American hero.

Alvin Townley's book DEFIANT tells the story of the eleven brave officers who led the American POWs during their grueling eight year ordeal inside North Vietnam's brutal Hanoi Hilton prison.
