Marietta Schools Offering Childcare For Educators During Pandemic

The Marietta City School is offering childcare for teachers who are doing remote learning.

MARIETTA, GA — The Marietta City School district is making life a little easier for educators who are parents.

Childcare at a discount is being offered for teachers who are leading virtual classrooms remotely, reported the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. The program is managed by the district staff who've had their hours cut due to the coronavirus pandemic. It’s for children ages 4 to 12 years old.

Parents in the program pay $60 per week, reported the AJC.
