Marietta Second in U.S. For Most Fast-Food Joints
No matter where you live, you don't have to drive far to find a fast-food restaurant. Especially in Marietta. Only Pensacola has more.
A public health website has ranked Marietta No. 2 in the nation for the most fast-food restaurants per capita among cities with 50,000 people or more.
CareersInPublicHealth.net wrapped up a new study examining fast food chains across the country. Among its discoveries: Pensacola, FL, has more fast food restaurants than any other city with a population of 50,000 (160 restaurants per 100,000 people), with Marietta having 156 per 100,000 residents.
The only northern city in the top 10 is Lancaster, PA, in 10th place with just over 94.
