Marietta Woman Who Shot Boyfriend Sentenced to Prison
Cattrina Victoria Crider was sentenced Friday morning to 25 years, with eight to serve in jail.

MARIETTA, GA -- A Marietta woman who shot her boyfriend in December 2014 has been sentenced to prison.
Last week, a Cobb jury convicted Cattrina Victoria Crider, 46, of aggravated assault, three counts of aggravated battery, and two firearms-possession charges.
About 9 p.m. on Dec. 6, 2014, Crider had been drinking at the couple’s Barrett Creek Boulevard apartment when they got in an argument. While in their bedroom, Crider got her 9mm Glock pistol and pointed it at the man. She put the barrel of the gun to the victim’s stomach and pulled the trigger as the victim tried to get the gun away from her.

The victim staggered outside to try and save himself. A neighbor found him and called for help.
The victim survived but his injuries left him with lifelong medical issues. He is also unable to work.

On Friday, Cobb Superior Court Judge Robert D. Leonard II sentenced Crider to 25 years, with eight years to serve in prison and the rest on probation.
