More DOT Roadwork in Cobb County This Weekend

Here's what the Georgia DOT will be working on in Cobb County this weekend:

• On I-75, one southbound lane will close between SR 120 Loop/South Marietta Parkway and SR 280/Delk Road continuously from 9 p.m., Friday until 5 a.m., Monday.
• On I-75, one lane will close on the I-75 southbound ramp to I-285 westbound from 9 p.m., Friday until 5 a.m., Saturday.
• On I-75, a traffic pace will take place on the I-75 southbound ramp to I-285 westbound from 11 p.m., Friday until 3 a.m., Saturday. The traffic pace will require motorists to drive 5 mph -10 mph to allow contractors to work across the interstate lanes.
• On I-75, the southbound on-ramp from Barrett Parkway will close from 9 p.m., Friday until 5 a.m., Saturday.
• On I-75, one northbound lane will close between Barrett Parkway and Chastain Road from 9 p.m., Friday until 5 a.m., Sunday.
• On I-285, one eastbound lane will close between Paces Ferry Road and the I-75 interchange nightly from 9 p.m., Friday until 5 a.m., Saturday and from 9 p.m., Saturday until 5 a.m., Sunday.
• On I-285, a traffic pace will take place on the eastbound collector-distributer lanes will close between Cobb Parkway and Windy Ridge Road nightly from 11 p.m., Friday until 3 a.m., Saturday and from 11 p.m., Saturday until 3 a.m., Sunday. The traffic pace will require motorists to drive 5 mph -10 mph to allow contractors to work across the interstate lanes.
• On I-575, one lane will close on the I-575 southbound on-ramp from Bells Ferry Road from 9:30 a.m. until 4 p.m., Saturday.
• On Roswell Road, one lane will close between East Freys Gin Court and the I-75 overpass daily from 9:30 a.m., until 4 p.m., Saturday and Sunday.
• On Hawkins Store Road, a flagging operation will take place under I-575 from 9:30 a.m., until 4 p.m., Saturday.
