Motorcyclist Killed, Multiple Injured In Cobb Crash
A motorcyclist was killed after he lost control of his vehicle and crossed into the path of an oncoming car in Marietta, police say.
MARIETTA, GA — A motorcyclist has died, and multiple people were injured, in a crash Sunday in the 3000 block of Ebenezer Road, Cobb County Police said Monday.
Police said the fatal crash happened around 6:30 p.m. and killed Nicholas Karantonis, 31, Roswell.
Karantonis was driving a 2009 Harley-Davidson FHX south on Ebenezer at the same time as a 2010 Honda Accord that was heading north on Ebenezer, police said.

The Harley-Davidson crossed into the northbound lane, Karantonis lost control of the vehicle, and it slid into the path of the oncoming Honda, police said.
The two vehicles crashed, and Karantonis was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

The occupants of the Honda were taken to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital with minor injuries, police said.
The crash remains under investigation.
