MARIETTA — A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash around 5:45 p.m. Tuesday at Powder Springs Road near Sandtown Road, Marietta Police said Wednesday.Police said the driver of a 2014 Ford Explorer south on Powder Springs ways trying to make a left turn onto Sandtown, hitting a 2013 Hyosung motorcycle that was traveling north on Powder Springs and crossing the intersection. The male driver of the motorcycle had serious injuries and was taken to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital, police said.It is unknown if anyone faces any charges in the case.
