Motorcycle Crashes Into Parked Car On I-75 N In Marietta

The man was seriously injured and taken to a hospital Wednesday.

MARIETTA, GA — A 36-year-old Chatsworth man is in the hospital with serious injuries after his motorcycle crashed into a car early Wednesday morning on Interstate 75 north, Marietta Police said.

The crash happened around 12:45 a.m. near the Delk Road exit, police said.

The man was driving a 2006 Kawasaki ZX636 on I-75, where the motorcycle left the lane for unknown reasons and hit a 2009 Volkswagen Jetta that was unoccupied and parked on the interstate's left shoulder, police said.

He was ejected from the motorcycle and seriously injured, police said. He was taken to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital.
