Need A Job Or Rent Help? Register For Cobb's Career, Tenant Forum
Attendees can talk to nonprofits about applying for COVID-19 relief money, housing counselors about rental help and employers about jobs.
COBB COUNTY, GA — Join Cobb County District 4 Commissioner Monique Sheffield, Worksource Cobb, local law enforcement agencies, nonprofit organizations and recruiting companies — as well as Housing and Urban Development counselors — for Cobb County's Career Fair and Tenant Forum later this month.
The forum is scheduled for Saturday, July 31 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Cobb County Public Safety Police Training Academy, 2435 East West Connector in Austell.
Employers will be on-site to offer job opportunities, nonprofits will be there to discuss the application process for COVID-19 relief funds, and HUD counselors will be on-site to help find landlords who accept Housing Choice Vouchers, according to a news release from county officials.
