New Bojangles Restaurant To Open Doors in December in Marietta

The chain is also hiring workers and managers; here's how to apply.

MARIETTA, GA — A Southern-style restaurant chain is opening another site in the area, and it's bringing about 30 new full-time and part-time jobs to Cobb County.

Bojangles' Famous Chicken 'n Biscuits has announced that it plans to open a new eatery at 2745 Powder Springs Road in December. The new Bojangles, under construction, will be the fifth to open in Cobb County, and the ninth to open this year in the Atlanta area, the company said in a news release.

“Bojangles has been growing in the Atlanta area over the last several years, so it’s great to open this new location in Marietta,” said Patrick Boykin, a regional vice president with Bojangles, in the statement. “We’re excited to provide the local community with friendly service and our popular, freshly-made chicken, biscuits and fixin’s. Additionally, we think our delicious breakfast, served fresh all day, every day, will be a huge hit."

The new store will be owned by the Bojangles company rather than a franchise. It's expected to measure about 3,800 square feet and seat about 70 diners.

Based in Charlotte, N.C., Bojangles operates fast-food restaurants throughout the Southeastern U.S. As of June, the company had 689 outlets, including 295 operated by the company and 394 under franchise.
