New Dunkin' Donuts Planned for Marietta, Smyrna
The franchisee plans to develop 11 new Dunkin' Donuts around the two cities, as well as Calhoun, Rockmart and Cartersville.
Dunkin' Donuts announced on Thursday that it has signed an agreement with a local franchisee to bring new locations to Smyrna and Marietta, among other communities.
Bluemont Group, LLC, plans to develop 11 new Dunkin' Donuts restaurants in the greater Atlanta area within Calhoun, Cartersville, Marietta, Rockmart and Smyrna. Led by Dave Baumgartner, this group currently operates 22 restaurants throughout Tennessee in Knoxville, Chattanooga and Nashville. The team's first Atlanta location is planned to open before year-end.

The company also said franchisees Sandip Patel and Ronak Patel will develop one Dunkin' Donuts restaurant and three multi-brand units with sister brand Baskin-Robbins in Atlanta. Patel and his group currently own three Dunkin' Donuts and six Dunkin' Donuts & Baskin-Robbins units located in Atlanta and Columbus.
West Georgia Café will develop one Dunkin' Donuts and one unit with Baskin-Robbins in Atlanta.
