New prom dresses donated to MHS students

Marietta High School students who might not be able to afford a prom dress will be glad to see this rack of brand new dresses.

Marietta High School students who might not be able to afford a prom dress will be glad to see the rack of brand new dresses that MUST Ministries delivered to the school March 1.

The dresses were donated to MUST Marketplace, the organization's thrift store, but the MUST team wanted to help students enjoy their special evening. MHS Principal Gabe Carmona (left) and Leigh Colburn, director of the Graduate Marietta Student Success Center, receive the dresses from Marketplace manager Chuck Rogers (back right).

MUST also operates a Save It Forward food pantry in the MHS center, providing 80 lbs. of food and toiletries monthly to families in need, including fresh fruits and vegetables provided by the Marietta Kiwanis Club.
