MARIETTA, GA — The 42-year-old Marietta man who died on Aug. 28 in a crash in the 1000 block of Franklin Gateway was identified Tuesday as Miguel Chamay-Sanchez. Police said the crash happened around 8 p.m., when Chamay-Sanchez walked into the roadway and was hit by a 2003 Dodge Grand Caravan that was heading northbound. Police said the driver of the Caravan is cooperating with investigators. No charges have been filed in the case though the investigation is active.
