Up with People Launches 50th Anniversary Celebration; Performs in Marietta

The multinational cast of Up with People is set to launch their 50th Anniversary Celebration. The Denver based non-profit organization is bringing their 18-month celebration to the world with more than 45 stops across the United States, Europe and Mexico. North Fulton County is one of only 15 stops in the United States portion of this tour!

While in the North Fulton County between August 10th-17th , Up with People will spend time volunteering to complete more than 1,000 hours of community service, live with local host families to share cultures and customs, interview North Fulton County youth to travel in future and of course perform the world renowned Up with People show. Best known for their high-energy, upbeat, family-friendly entertainment, the cast and staff of 100 students representing over 20 countries are participating in UWP’s international global education program for young adults. For over 50 years, the casts of Up with People have toured the globe performing for millions, including an unprecedented four Super Bowl halftime shows. Additional monumental performances by the group include a performance at the 1972 Munich Olympics following the tragic massacre of Israeli athletes and the group’s 2013 performance for Pope Francis.
