Pipe Bombs Found In Cobb County Home
Three pipe bombs and other weapons were discovered inside the home Friday, police said.

MARIETTA, GA — Explosives have been found inside a vacant home in Cobb County, police said on Friday.
WSB-TV reports that the explosives were found in the 2900 block of Bay Berry Drive, according to a Cobb County Police spokesman. They included three pipe bombs and other weapons. A police spokesman did not immediately respond to a message from Patch for comment.
The road was closed Friday afternoon and Cobb County police and fire crews were on the scene.

According to police, the man who lived in the home died recently and, when police notified his mother, she told them that he had kept explosives at the home.
