Man Shot, Killed At Marietta Apartment Complex Id'ed

MARIETTA, GA — A man who police say was shot and killed Sunday at a Marietta apartment complex was identified by authorities Tuesday as Marco Sauveur, 27, of Marietta.

According to the Marietta Police Department, Sauveur was shot in the thigh around 5:09 p.m. in the 1600 block of Massachusetts Avenue.

Police said witnesses told them the shooting resulted from an altercation between residents and a visitor.

Sauveur died at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital, police said.

No charges have been filed in the case, police said.

Details of a suspect have not been released.
