Recycle Christmas Trees In Cobb At 'The Chipper'
A dozen locations, including Home Depot in Cobb County, will be accepting used Christmas trees during the event.

MARIETTA, GA — Cobb County residents who are ready to recycle their Christmas trees can "Bring One For The Chipper" a week from Saturday.
The recycling event on Jan. 6 is free and will run from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at a dozen Home Depot and Cobb County parks locations throughout the county. Some of the trees will be turned into mulch, which will be available for free at all locations.
The recycling event is sponsored by Keep Cobb Beautiful.

No trees will be accepted with decorations still on them. All decorations, mesh and string must be removed before recycling, organizers say.
