Register Now: Free Community Emergency Response Team Training
CERT members are better trained to assist first responders during disasters and tragic events.

MARIETTA, GA — Cobb County is holding free Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training in November. It will last for three sessions, and registration is open now.
The program is designed to train people to be better prepared for all sorts of emergency situations in their communities. CERT members can give critical support to first responders, according to a press release, and provide much needed assistance at disaster sites.
The classes will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Nov. 4, 11 and 18 (all Saturdays) at the Cobb County Emergency Operations Center at 140 North Marietta Parkway in Marietta.
