Arrest Made In Satanic Church Graffiti
A Kennesaw man is accused of spraying vulgar and Satanic messages at multiple houses of worship in Cobb County.

MARIETTA, GA — Cobb County Police have arrested a man they say is responsible for vulgar and Satanic graffiti sprayed at several churches and other houses of worship.
Clint Vance, 32, of Kennesaw, was arrested Tuesday and charged with three counts of vandalism to a place of worship, police spokeswoman Officer Sarah O'Hara said. She said investigators expect more charges to be filed in both Cobb and Cherokee counties.
Police had said a man believed to be working alone vandalized multiple locations with red spray paint between April 29 and July 1. The locations that were targeted include Noonday Baptist Church in Marietta and the Church of Christ at North Cobb in Kennesaw.

The Church of Christ was vandalized three separate times with "Satanic phrases and offensive language," police said in a news release.
Hours before Vance's arrest, police announced that they had expanded their investigation.
Originally searching for a car they believed to be a Hyundai Elantra, police said late Tuesday they believed the man may have driven a Honda Accord or similar four-door sedan.
Police said that in addition to "vulgar and Satanic phrases," the man painted "what can best be described as sacrilegious symbols to include crosses with circles around them and lines striking through them."
In video released by police, the man can be seen driving past the church doors once before circling back around, getting out of his car and spraying something on a church's wall.
