Smyrna Woman Faces Drug, Weapon Charges After Marietta Traffic Stop
The woman was accused of trafficking cocaine and methamphetamine and trying to distribute marijuana.

MARIETTA, GA — A traffic stop led to officers finding multiple drugs and two weapons in a vehicle, and a Smyrna woman's arrest, Tuesday near the intersection of Fairground and Lawrence streets, Marietta Police said Thursday.
The woman was being stopped for an expired license plate, police said.
Police charged Nakyla Morman, 33, on suspicion of trafficking more than 28 grams cocaine, intent to distribute cocaine, trafficking cocaine, intent to distribute methamphetamine and intent to distribute marijuana - all violations of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act charges, police said.

Morman was also charged on suspicion of possession of a firearm during commission of a felony, two counts of possession of a firearm by convicted felon and criminal use of an article with altered ID, police said.
She was booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, police said.
