Teen Dies In Marietta Shooting

MARIETTA, GA — A 15-year-old boy died after being shot in the face Sunday in the area of Quiet Creek Court, Cobb County Police said late Tuesday morning.

Officers responded around 11:30 a.m. to the scene to a trouble unknown call, police said. After arriving, they found the boy with a gunshot wound to the face.

Police said the boy was taken to a hospital, where he later died. He was not identified. His death is being investigated as a homicide, police said.
