Tipster Leads To $100,000 Marijuana Seizure
Thirty packages of marijuana with a street value of approximately $100,000 were seized along with more than $1,000 in cash.

MARIETTA, GA -- Police seized an estimated $100,000 by staking out a storage facility, all thanks to a tip from a resident. A 911 caller reported on Thursday that drug sales might be happening at 1795 Cobb Parkway South. Police and a K-9 officer, Apex, was brought to the storage facility, where the dog signaled the presence of drugs in a storage unit.
Three Marietta police officers began investigating.
Undercover officers were stationed in the area and later observed two individuals enter the same locker and remove the contents. Officers stopped the suspect vehicle as it was leaving the facility and arrested Chuck Raiford, 44, and Telisha Passmore, 45, both from Columbus, Ga.

Thirty individual one-pound packages of marijuana with a street value of approximately $100,000 were seized along with $1660. Due to the quantity of marijuana in their possession, both individuals were booked into Cobb County jail, charged with felony Trafficking marijuana.
