- A train and a car collided just off the square in Marietta around rush hour on Wednesday. The accident caused delays all around downtown. No injuries, luckily, but the backups lingered for quite some time. (FOX 5 Atlanta)
- The developer looking to build a new project near downtown told a forum that he's "open" to the idea of condos for the proposed 135-unit building off Marietta Square. The original proposal called for rental apartments. Some were nervous about the idea of apartments in the building. City officials also were critical of the architectural style. (MDJOnline.com)
- A Kennesaw Mountain High School teacher was arrested for drinking alcohol on campus. An assistant principal found a bottle of liquor the teacher threw into the dumpster at the school. Another bottle was found in his car on campus. (WSB Atlanta)
