Traton Homes is Collecting New Toys for Cobb Christmas

One of the most enduring holiday images is that of families gathered together at home. It’s an image that drives family-owned Traton Homes year-round, and also directs the company’s charitable efforts, especially around Thanksgiving and Christmas. For the past 15 years, Marietta-based Traton Homes has supported the efforts of Cobb Christmas, a local non-profit that provides toys and food to low income and working poor families in Cobb County during the Christmas season. Through Dec. 12, Traton is collecting new, unwrapped toys at its corporate office, located at 720 Kennesaw Ave. in Marietta, at its North Square model home, located at 730 Canton Road NE in Marietta and at its model home at The Grove at Adams Pond, located at 2483 Davis Drive in Smyrna. All of the toys collected will be given to Cobb Christmas for distribution.

“We take great pride in building homes in our hometown of Marietta, as well as throughout Cobb and the greater Atlanta area,” said Kimberly Garwood, Traton Homes director of marketing. “It’s very rewarding to come together every year as a company and community to support the charitable efforts of Cobb Christmas.”

Since partnering with Cobb Christmas, Traton Homes has donated and collected thousands of toys. Donations come from the company, as well as from employees, vendors and many caring members of the community.
