Walmart has fired a Marietta man who allegedly called the Orlando shootings an act of "community service" in a Twitter post.

“Y’all see a Gay club shooting as a horrible tragedy,” read the post, which has been made private. “I see it as someone doing Community Service.”

The man, whose identity is unknown, used the Twitter handle @IWillTryLater. At least two people sent the post to Walmart management, which later responded on its @Walmartnewsroom account, according to the AJC:

The man reportedly wore a Walmart vest in his Twitter profile photo.

It is unknown where the man worked before he was fired.
