Walton High School iPad Proposal Worries Parents

The school has directed parents to buy the tablet for their kids for use in classroom assignments.

MARIETTA, GA -- A plan to use iPads in Marietta’s Walton High School is drawing concern from parents.

The school has directed the parents of its more than 2,000 students to buy the tablet for use in classroom assignments, reports the Washington Times. The Cobb County school system has purchased iPads for students who can’t afford them, but students are not allowed to take the tablet home.

Some parents are worried that students who don’t have an iPad will get left behind academically.
