WATCH: Robber Poses As Customer, Pepper-Sprays Clerk
The man robbed the Cricket Wireless store in Cobb County of several cellphones after spraying the clerk, police say.

AUSTELL, GA — A robber posed as a customer at a Cobb County cellphone store before pepper-spraying an employee and making off with several phones, according to police.
Cobb County Police are seeking the public's help in catching the man who robbed the Cricket Wireless store at 3999 Austell Rd. on May 6. The robbery happened at about 1:45 p.m. that day, police say.
According to investigators, the man went into the store and acted like a customer. As the female clerk was helping him, he sprayed her in the face with pepper spray. He then reached over the counter and stole a cellphone, then went to the back of the more and stole boxes containing several more phones.

The robber is described as a light-skinned black male, standing 5'10" to 6' tall and weighing about 220-250 pounds. He is believed to be 30-40 years old, with a beard and mustache.
