Wells Fargo Employee Uses ATM To Pilfer Money From Customers: Reports
Marietta police urge customers to monitor their bank accounts.

MARIETTA, GA — An employee of a Wells Fargo bank in Marietta may face fraud charges after he tried to use an ATM to withdraw money from customer accounts, according to media reports
Kwasi Adadevoh, 24, of Marietta, also is facing drug possession charges, WXIA-TV 11 Alive reported. The police in Marietta are urging residents, including Wells Fargo customers, to monitor their bank accounts daily to ensure there’s no fraudulent activity.
At around 11:30 p.m. Sept. 28, an undercover officer with the Marietta police said he witnessed a suspicious man, wearing gloves, a mask and a hooded sweatshirt, approach the Wells Fargo ATM on Roswell Street, 11 Alive reported.

The individual appeared to make a transaction and run back to a vehicle parked nearby. "Marked Marietta Police cruisers them pulled into the parking lot and conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle," 11 Alive reported. "Adadevoh was the only person inside the vehicle and had several bank documents in the passenger seat, according to police."
They searched the vehicle and found Adadevoh in possession of marijuana and amphetamines, WGCL-TV Channel 46 reported. He has been charged with possession of marijuana, possession of amphetamines, and possession of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school.

The fraud charges are pending, CBS 46 reported.
