Investigators expect to file charges in the crash Saturday morning, according to Cobb County Police.

AUSTELL, GA -- Cobb County Police says charges are expected in a fatal wreck Saturday on the East-West Connector in Austell. One person was killed in the crash Saturday morning, while three others were injured.
Officers responded to the crash scene in the area of Mesa Valley Way at 9:13 a.m. A preliminary investigation suggests the driver of a maroon Chevrolet S-10 was heading east on the connector as the driver of a light blue transit bus was heading North on Mesa Valley Way, according to Sgt. Dana Pierce, a police spokesperson.
"According to evidence and witness statements from the crash scene, as a result of the eastbound truck disregarding the automatic traffic signal, the CCT bus struck it on the passenger side," Pierce said in a statement.
