Yoga Class to Benefit Birds Rescued by LifeLine Animal Project
And meet our Fulton Pet of the Week, Xena, a funny girl who is full of personality and affection!
On July 13, DeKalb County Animal Services Enforcement division and LifeLine at DeKalb County Animal Services rescued over 300 exotic birds from a situation of abuse and neglect. Tragically, over 30 birds were found dead. LifeLine staff were able to remove all of the birds safely in one day.
Yoga teacher and bird lover Krista Harris will be holding a yoga class to benefit the birds on Saturday, October 15, at 107 Church Street in Marietta for a $20 cash or check donation.
