You're Sure to be Rockin' at the Sounds Of Life Concert Series Presented by Superior Plumbing

The Sounds of Life Concert Series continues on Thursday, September 11th, at Life University’s outdoor amphitheater at Lyceum Park. In addition to live music, this FREE outdoor event includes a Beer Garden hosted by Red Hare Brewery, Food Trucks, VIP Cabanas and more. Presented by Superior Plumbing, this month’s installment of Sounds of Life features The Bama Gamblers and Marietta’s very own Lauren St. Jane. Junior Miss Cobb County, Carley Vogel, will open the event with a special September 11th performance of the Star Spangled Banner.

The Bama Gamblers, an Auburn, Alabama-based rock band, formed in 2010 during their time attending Auburn University. The band started off like most bands do—as a strict cover band—but much like releasing an animal into the wild, The Bama Gamblers quickly found themselves writing their first collection of original songs. Today, they describe themselves as “a five piece rock n’ roll outfit blending the ‘Muscle Shoals Sound’ from North Alabama with the gritty, electrified-soul grown in Atlanta, GA.” Learn more about The Bama Gamblers by visiting www.BamaGamblers.com.

With her own combination of Country swagger and American rock, Lauren St. Jane is sure to have attendees rockin’ in their seats. This fiery, female-fronted band offers a raw sound complimented by strong, alluring vocals, ripping licks and lyrics you’d expect from a true redhead. The public is welcome to come out and have a rockin’ good time with live music and good eats at Life’s beautiful outdoor amphitheater. Admission and parking is free.
