Gigabit Internet Battles Intensify as Comcast Targets Atlanta Expansion
AT&T has already announced plans to bring super high speed internet to more areas of the city, including Midtown.

Super high speed internet is being seen more and more as an essential tool for any business that wants to thrive in the modern market. With new businesses relocating to and opening in Atlanta every day, internet service providers are announcing plans to bring ”gigabit” internet to the city to meet the needs of this data-hungry entities.
WXIA-TV reports that Comcast plans to expand its gigabit internet network in Atlanta to compete with AT&T and Google, who are also growing the size of their super high speed networks. Comcast’s expansion includes Midtown, WXIA-TV says.
In October, AT&T announced plans to bring its GigaPower network to Atlanta. The network, which AT&T says will allow subscribers to fully download an HD movie in 36 seconds, will also include improved TV services for business and residential customers.
