Two Duluth men were arrested in Midtown on Thursday afternoon after state troopers discovered 15 pounds of marijuana inside their car during a traffic stop.

According to the Georgia State Patrol, a trooper pulled over a Toyota Corolla for a traffic violation on Linden Ave. at approximately 12:30 p.m. Neither the driver nor the passenger had a valid driver’s license.
While conducting a vehicle inventory, approximately 15 pounds of marijuana were found in the vehicle, the GSP said. The driver and passenger were taken into custody and transported to the Fulton County Jail.

The driver has been identified as Anastacio E. Sanchez-Castaneda, age 34; his passenger was Jaime Martinez Juarez, age 34.
