Until Thursday, the giant caterpillar was covered by a cocoon. Then children from Primrose School of Midtown gathered around for the big reveal as the cocoon was removed and The Very Hungry Caterpillar comes to life.

In addition to the reveal, a storyteller from the Alliance Theatre was on hand to read from the famous children’s book.
