Arrests, Accident Injury, Suspicious Person on Walton Sheriff's Call List

This report is compiled from the Walton County Sheriff's Office alerts for  Feb. 14-17. Click here for the zone map. 

Zone 1

• Burglary – A residence on Cannon Farm Rd. was ransacked. Money was reportedly taken.

Zone 2

• Theft/Damage – A motor grader, located at a construction site off Mt. Paron Church Rd., was driven by unknown person(s) from the site, to Old Monroe Madison Hwy., then back to the site. Damages to the engine were reported by the owner of the equipment. The incident is under investigation and extra patrol was requested.
• Arrest – Jason Baker was arrested on Hwy 138 @ H D Atha Rd. in reference to an outstanding warrant and driving with a suspended license.
• Arrest – Michael Brown was arrested on H D Atha Rd. @ Ayers Walk in reference to possession of marijuana less than an ounce.

Zone 3

• Suspicious Person – A suspicious subject was reportedly standing near a garage at a residence on Marion Ivie Rd. The subject ran into the woods when the complainant went in the house to call 9-1-1. The subject was described as a white male about 6’2 in height.
• Fire Assist – A residence caught fire on Mulberry Creek Drive in Poppyfield Farms.

Zone 4

• Arrest – Subjects, Chris Fuller and Wendy Fuller, were arrested off Bradley Gin Rd. for an altercation at Waffle House on Unisia Drive. James Bandy was also arrested for an outstanding warrant.

Zone 5

• Vehicle Accident – The driver of a vehicle was injured during a vehicle accident on Shiloh Rd. @ Hwy 81. He was airlifted to Atlanta Medical with head injuries sustained during the accident.
• Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm at a residence on Richmond Way in Richmond Place subdivision. All windows and doors were secured.

Zone 6

• Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm at a residence on Victoria Park Drive. All windows and doors were secured.

Zone 7

• Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm at a residence on Meridian Lake Drive in Meridian Lake subdivision. All windows and doors were secured.
