Bullet Fired Through Window, Arrest After Foot Chase and More Walton Sheriff's Office Alerts
The Walton County Sheriff's Office responded to the following calls Jan. 31-Feb. 5
Zone 1
Theft β Batteries from a Nissan truck and a golf cart were reported missing from a residence on Nunnally Farm Rd. A suspect has been named.
Damage to Property β A report was made in reference to someone firing a round through a window at a residence on Oak Lane.

Zone 2
Safety Check β Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Hwy 11 at Whitney Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driverβs license, vehicle registration and insurance. No arrests were made.

Zone 3
Stolen Vehicle (Recovered) β A Ford Explorer that was reported missing was recovered during a traffic stop on Pannell Rd. at Brush Creek. The driver fled the scene on foot and was not located.
Suspicious Vehicle β A 1993 Dodge Dakota was found on Pleasant Valley Rd. The driverβs side and passenger side windows were down, radio missing, and ignition damaged. Owner could not be located.
Arrest β David Nash was arrested for an outstanding warrant at a mobile home lot on Hwy 278.
Zone 4
Suspicious Vehicle β A dark colored vehicle with a Barrow County tag was reportedly passing a residence several times on Daniel Cemetery Rd. When the complainant followed the vehicle, it sped away.
Be on Look Out β A dark-colored Volvo was reportedly driving in the area of Clarence Odum Rd. and Daniel Cemetery Rd. without headlights.
Extra Patrol β A suspicious white male was reportedly walking around Glen View Lane in Providence Club subdivision. The subject has been seen coming out of the woods. Extra Patrol has been requested.
Extra Patrol β Extra patrol was requested in reference to a suspicious white van riding in the area of Bradley Gin Rd. at Glass Rd.Β
Zone 5
Entering Auto β A vehicle was entered on Sandra Way. A laptop was taken from the vehicle.
Arrest β Eric Howard was arrested on Double Springs Rd. after a foot chase that started on Roscoe Davis Rd. He was arrested for outstanding warrants and Obstruction of Officers.
Alarm β Walton County deputies responded to an alarm on Watson Fain Trail in Watson Farm. All windows and doors appeared secure.
Suspicious Person β A suspicious black male was reportedly standing near a vehicle at a residence on Sandra Way. The subject got into a newer model 4dr Honda Accord and left the neighborhood.
Burglary Report β Copper pipe and electrical wiring was taken from inside a vacant residence on Watson Mill Court in Watson Mill subdivision.Β
Zone 6
Burglary Report β A television and stereo were reported missing from a residence on Pointer Rd.
Theft β Subjects were found stealing metal from a dumpster at FISH.
Extra Patrol β Extra patrol requested in reference to a white male and a white female in a gold Lexus soliciting business in the area of S. Sharon Church Rd.
Burglary in Progress β Walton County deputies responded to a burglary alarm at the Country Store off Hwy 20 and discovered it was burglarized. The suspect was described as a white male wearing a black fleece hooded jacket with a grey liner, a blue shirt, blue jeans and black sneakers. The subject was carrying what appeared to be a backpack. Cigarettes and lottery tickets were taken from the location.
Zone 7
Harassing Call β A resident on Cambridge Drive received a suspicious phone call claiming to be an officer from the Walton County Sheriffβs Office. The subject asked questions about the complainantβs vehicle then claimed that it had come back stolen.
Suspicious Person β A female subject, on Greenhill Way in Forest Glen subdivision, was reportedly yelling into a phone about her pills and alcohol. She was gone when deputies arrived.
Safety Check β Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Hwy 138 at Lakeside Blvd. near Woodlake subdivision. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driverβs license, vehicle registration and insurance. No arrests were made.
Entering Auto β Several items were taken from a vehicle located on Hwy 138.
Fraud β A fraud complaint was reported at a business on Hwy 138.
Agency Assist
Walton County deputies assisted Loganville Police Department with a traffic stop on Atlanta Hwy., which involved marijuana and drug related objects. All three subjects were arrested at the scene.
