Activity dates: September 9, 2014 – September 10, 2014

Zone 1

Burglary – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm at a residence on Jewel Ridge. Upon arrival, the back sliding glass door was busted out and another door was unsecured. The owner was notified. Nothing appeared missing. Criminal Investigations Division was notified.

Identity Theft – An identity theft report was made on Wood Chase Drive.

Firearms – Firearm shots were heard in the area of Riverwood Drive.

Zone 3
Arrest – James Saye was arrested on Randolph Still Rd. for DUI after driving into a ditch.

Zone 5
Burglary – An unlocked residence on Bullock Bridge Rd. was entered. Medications and money were taken from the residence.

Extra Patrol – Speeding vehicles were observed in the area of Richmond Place and Hudson Rd.

Arrest – Marc Clark was arrested on Centerhill Church Rd. in reference to Possession of Meth.

Damage to Property – A complaint was made on Mystic Drive in reference to someone reportedly spraying weed killer on the complainant’s lawn.

Extra Patrol – Extra patrol was requested in reference to vehicles speeding in the area of the Richmond Place subdivision.

Zone 6
Arrest – Alice Campbell was arrested on Sunny Hill Drive in reference to an outstanding warrant.

Trespassing – Several subjects were issued Criminal Trespass warnings for trespassing at the Rock Quarry.

Zone 7
Damage to Property – A fence and a metal gate were damaged after a vehicle struck them while traveling on H D Atha Rd.

Arrest – Jonathan Scruggs and Kurt Taylor were arrested after breaking into a trailer parked in the back of a business on Brookview Drive. Both subjects were charged with Possession of tools to commit Burglary, Criminal Trespass and Criminal Damage to Property.

Arrest – Patrick McClendon was arrested on Ansley Forest Drive in the Ansley Forest subdivision, for outstanding warrants, after a vehicle pursuit.

Theft – A firearm was reported stolen from a residence on Cedar Way.
