Sheriff's Calls: Kitchen Window Peeper, Hindering Police, Fraud on Kohl's Account

CRIME AWARENESS/COMMUNITY INFORMATION ALERT

Activity date: January 23, 2015 – January 25, 2015

Zone 1
Arrest – Julie Kubiak was arrested for DUI Alcohol/Drugs in the vicinity of a business on Hwy 138.

Safety Check – Walton County Deputies conducted a safety check at Alcovy Station Rd. and Jersey Covington Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.

Zone 2
Arrest – Tiffany Stoddard was arrested for an outstanding warrant at a residence on Tall Oaks Lane.

Arrest – Claudette Lewis was arrested for an outstanding warrant at a residence on George Walton Home Circle.

Safety Check – Walton County Deputies conducted a safety check at Social Circle Fairplay and Pannell Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.

Extra Patrol – Subject requested extra patrol at a residence on E Hightower Trl due to threats being made to her daughter.

Zone 3
Trespassing – Subject reported an unidentified female reportedly peered through her kitchen window at a residence on Mt. Paran Church Rd. Incident occurred on Monday, January 19, 2015 but was not reported until Friday, January 23, 2015.

Arrest – Johnny Grindle was arrested for outstanding warrants at a residence on Wayne Meadows Rd.

Extra Patrol – Extra patrol was requested in the area of Davis St. in the City of Monroe in reference to subjects reportedly stealing copper and items from a yard in the area.

Safety Check – Walton County Deputies conducted a safety check at Bearden Rd. and Frank Camp Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.

Zone 4
Stolen Vehicle - A 2000 Toyota Camry, gold in color, was reportedly stolen from James Huff Rd.

Safety Check – Walton County Deputies conducted a safety check at Mt. Vernon Rd. and Ike Stone Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. David Lee Parker was issued a citation for Possession of Marijuana less than an ounce as a result of the Safety Check.

Theft Report – A 2005 Yamaha 230 four wheeler was reportedly taken from a residence on Shoal Creek Rd. Incident occurred between 01/19/2015 and 01/22/2015 between 1900 hours and 0700 hours.

Arrest – Tommy Presley was arrested for DUI, Too Fast for Conditions and Failure to Maintain Lane following an accident in the area of Hwy 11.

Zone 5
Arrest – Jeffery Blevins was arrested for an outstanding warrant at a residence on Hickory Grove Church Rd.

Arrest – Kenneth Duncan was arrested for an outstanding warrant at a residence on Hwy 81.

Arrest – Nathan Ellis and Jessica Parker were arrested for Hindering the Apprehension of a Fugitive at a residence on Hickory Grove Church Rd.

Burglary Report – An outbuilding was reportedly burglarized at a residence on Hickory Grove Church Rd.

Fraud Report – A fraud report was made at a residence on Hwy 81. A purchase was reportedly made on subject’s Kohl’s account.

Other Law – Subject at a residence on Double Springs Rd. reportedly received a call from someone claiming to be with the Walton County Sheriff’s Office inquiring about a recent purchase of a vehicle.

Zone 6
Safety Check – Walton County Deputies conducted a safety check at Miller Bottom Rd. and Flagstone Way. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.

Arrest – Joseph Wendell Radford was arrested for Possession of Drug Related Objects and Possession of Control Substance at a residence on Yorkshire Ct.

Fraud Report – A fraud report was made at a residence on Hwy 20. A GM MasterCard was reportedly used to make several purchases.

Arrest – Michael Duggan was arrested for Criminal Trespass at a residence on Crestwood Trail. Mr. Duggan has been told multiple times to stay away from residence on Crestwood Trail.

Zone 7
Arrest – James Grindle was arrested for outstanding warrants on Hwy 138 as a result of a traffic stop.

Safety Check – Walton County Deputies conducted a safety check at Jersey Walnut Grove Rd. and Forrester Cemetery Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.
