Sheriff's Calls: Safety Checkpoint Arrests, Fighting Juveniles, Hit-and-Run Driver Chase

CRIME AWARENESS/COMMUNITY INFORMATION ALERT

Activity date: November 7, 2014 – November 10, 2014

Zone 1
Safety Checkpoint – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Hwy 138 at Forrester Cemetery Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. Kenneth Spencer and Patrick Brown were both arrested during the safety check in reference to outstanding warrants.

Suspicious Vehicle – Extra patrol was requested in reference to suspicious vehicles traveling from Lowery Jersey Rd. to Hollis St.

Recovered Vehicle – A vehicle that was reported stolen out of Dekalb County was recovered on Hwy 138 at Lakeshore Drive.

Disorderly Conduct – Three subjects at a residence on Hwy 138 were issued citations for Disorderly Conduct.

Safety Checkpoint – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Snows Mill Rd. at Mt. Carmel Church Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.

Damage to Property – A subject struck a mailbox on Brush Creek Drive. Damage was made to the vehicle.

Zone 4
Juvenile Complaint – Two juveniles were involved in a fight at a residence on Tommy Dillard Rd. Both were charged with Affray.

Arrest – Salita Presley was arrested on Eliza Doster Rd. in reference to an outstanding warrant.

Zone 5
Extra Patrol – Extra patrol was requested on Eagles Nest Court in reference to suspicious activity near vacant residences.

Burglary – A residence was entered on Highway 81. Several items, including cash and a television, were taken from the residence.

Burglary – Entry was made inside a vacant building on Royal Park Drive. Nothing was reported missing. Damages were made to the garage door.

Extra Patrol – Old car parts were reportedly taken from a property on Highway 11. Extra patrol was requested.

Burglary Report – A residence was entered on Roscoe Davis Rd. No forced entry was made inside of the residence; however, several items were taken.

Shoplifting – A white male wearing a green hoodie and blue jeans entered the Dollar General on Hwy 11 and took several items. The subject left in a white, 4-door Chevrolet Cavalier.

Chase – Kenneth Dubose attempted to elude Walton County deputies after being involved in an accident at the entrance of Walmart in Monroe. He was arrested on Double Springs Rd. for numerous traffic citations and several warrants.

Safety Checkpoint – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Hwy 81 at Jack Pittman Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. There were three arrests made during the safety check.

Safety Checkpoint – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Double Springs Church Rd. at the Connector. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. There were two arrests during the safety checkpoint.

Safety Checkpoint – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Miller Bottom Rd. at Flagstone Way. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. There were two arrests made during the safety check.

Trespassing – A subject was issued a Criminal Trespass warning for riding a dirt bike on a property on Bold Springs Rd.

Multiple Alarm Calls – Walton County deputies responded to several alarm calls at a residence on Plantation Ridge Court. All windows and doors appeared secure.

Zone 6
Trespassing – A subject entered a business on Garmon Park Court. The subject was reportedly acting suspiciously. Nothing was reported missing from the property.

Safety Checkpoint – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Centerhill Church Rd. at Gum Creek Church Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. Robert Bolden was arrested for DUI.

Arrest – Michael Chase was arrested at the Bright Inn on Atlanta Hwy. for driving without insurance and Possession of Marijuana less than an ounce.

Safety Checkpoint – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Ga. Hwy 20 at Ivory Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. No arrests were made during the safety check.

Safety Checkpoint – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Hwy 81 at Karlee Blvd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. No arrests were made during the safety check.

Arrest – Patrick McGee was arrested on Hwy 78 at Broadnax Mill Rd. in reference to an outstanding warrant.

Arrest – Lennox West was arrested on Reese Court in reference to an outstanding warrant.

Safety Checkpoint – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Broadnax Mill rd. at Castlewood Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.

Suspicious Vehicle – A suspicious vehicle was reportedly following another vehicle while traveling on Hwy 20.

Zone 7

Safety Checkpoint – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Broadnax Mill Rd. at Youth Monroe Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. No arrests were made during the safety check.

Arrest/Recovered Property – Dontae Lang was arrested on Wagon Trail in reference to stolen items that were discovered in his possession.
