Sheriff's Office Reports: Power Tools Taken, 4-Wheelers Tearing Up Side of Road, Speeding Complaints

Zone 2                  

• Theft – Power tools were reportedly taken from a residence on Hancock Drive. 

Zone 3                   

• Shoplifting – A male subject allegedly took a drink from a cooler inside a store on Mt. Vernon Rd.
• Juvenile Problem – Juvenile subjects on 4-wheelers were observed tearing up the side of the roadway on Stewart Lake Court.
• Speeding Vehicles – Complaints were made in reference to vehicles speeding on Browning Shoals Rd.

Zone 7

• Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Kent Rock Rd. @ Emmett Still Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. No arrests were made during the safety check.
